At Saginaw Township Community Schools, school board members must develop policies and make tough

decisions on complex educational and social issues which impact the entire community. They bear responsibility
for an annual budget of over $63 million, 4600 students, 647 employees and 8 buildings. They carry out the
truest form of representative government in our democracy through volunteer public service and they preserve
the core of our democratic land of public education.
