Summer Credit Recovery Program

Heritage High School Summer Online Credit Recovery
For current HHS students only

If you have failed a course first semester, or anticipate failing a course second semester, and would like to opportunity to take the online recovery course free of charge this summer, then sign up for the Summer Credit Recovery Program. Forms are available in the counseling office and need to be returned by Friday, May 30, 2014. This program is for current Heritage High School students that have taken and not passed a course. If you have questions please see Mrs. Moretuzzo in room 111. Orientation will be the week of June 23, 2014 and the program will run June 30, 2014 through July 31, 2014. A schedule, as well as the expectations/requirements will be available at the orientation meeting. You will be notified as to the date and time of the orientation. Please plan to attend.


Latin Club Yearbook Picture

April 29, 2014

All Latin students interested in being in the yearbook picture for Latin Club should report to the cafeteria today Wednesday, April 30, as soon as school is over. The picture will be taken about 2:45-2:50. Students may stay for refreshments afterwards or leave as soon as necessary.


Travel to England in 2015

Would you like to visit Platform 9 3/4 and sets from the Harry Potter films? See where Shakespeare lived and wrote? See the greenness of Ireland? Then this is the announcement for you! Mr. and Mrs. Richardson are planning a student trip to England and Ireland for the summer of 2015, and you could become a part of it! There will be a student interest meeting after school on Wednesday, May 7 in Room 207. If you can't make it, but are interested, please stop by Mrs. Richardson's room so she can give you some information.


Scholarship Opportunity

The Michael R. Davis Memorial Scholarship has been created in honor of a great patron and supporter of the HHS Players and Music Boosters programs at Heritage High School. This scholarship will be awarded to one senior at Senior Honors Night. HHS Seniors interested in pursuing a career in theater, film, art, music, industrial arts, or design may apply for the scholarship. Applications can be obtained from the counseling website/office or from Mrs. Galonska in room 318.
Applications are due by Thursday, May 1st. Please return applications to Mrs. Galonska in room 318.


Heritage Track & Field Showcase!

The 1st Annual Heritage Track & Field Showcase will be Tuesday, April 29 - free admission for EVERYBODY at our home meet on Tuesday! Come out and cheer on your Hawks track & field athletes! HAWK NATION!


Kickball Tournament!

Hey Heritage! This spring, Student Assembly is introducing a new exciting fundraiser, called Kids Kicking Cancer. This outdoor event is a kickball tournament that any Heritage Student can participate in on the evening of May 13th. Signup sheets are available now in the main office and are due on May 5th. A fee of $5 will be charged for every player and teams can have 6-10 players. All proceeds will be going to charity, so get your team together and sign up today!


Wildfire Credit Union accepting employme

Wildfire Credit Union is accepting employment applications for the 2014-2015 school year. You can pick up applications during lunch hours at the Student Branch located next to the school store. Deadline for applications to be submitted is Friday, May 9th.


After Graduation Party

Seniors - After Graduation Party Registration forms are available in the Main Office. Forms are due to the Cashier by May 16th, 2014.


Opening Doors

Students, please DO NOT open outside doors to allow visitors into the building, even if you know the person. You will be written up and referred to the Deans for disciplinary action if you do so.


Heritage Triple Achievement Award

The Heritage Triple Achievement Award
Heritage High School is offering a new graduating honor, the Heritage Triple Achievement. It highlights participation in three different areas; Academics, Athletics and Extra-Curricular activities.
Eligible graduating students must meet certain criteria in all three areas. They are:
Academic – have at least a 2.5 GPA and have taken and completed six (6) Honors, AP or IB courses over four years
Athletic – participated in a Varsity sports for two years
Extra-Curricular – participated in two school sponsored activities for two years each
(i.e. LIFT, HIYA, Student Government, Multi-Cultural Club)

To apply you must fill out the application form located in counseling and obtain the appropriate signatures. Applications must be received no later than May 1st. Turn them in to Mr. Ryan in Athletics.
