A few more pictures of the fun being had in 3rd grade science this week. Before the chicks could be moved from their incubators, students learned what chicks need to survive and helped set up the brooding boxes. They also learned to safely hold a chick.
It's the most favorite time of the year. Chick hatching has happened as our third graders study the life cycle of a chicken.
The Eagles had a great morning with Lisa Fipps, author of And Then, Boom! They learned so much and asked wonderful questions. A few Eagles even got an autograph at the end of the presentation. We can't wait for her next book! 🦅📚

Student Council members ended the week with a service project, working together to make 8 children's blankets to donate to The Mustard Seed, a local shelter serving women and children experiencing homelessness.
