The fourth grade Eagles flew the nest yesterday to explore as a part of Project RED through Michigan Farm Bureau. They got to learn about local agriculture, animals, and where their food comes from.
It's time to celebrate our first Rising Eagle 🦅 at Arrowwood. He has already completed his fifth grade ALEKs and be moving on to sixth grade math now.
Today was game day at Kind Kids Club. Lots of smiles and laughter were had, and Mrs. Hill even got to join a game of Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. It was a great way for students to practice kindness, whether they were winning or losing, new or experts. Good game, Eagles!
Today's P.E. classes with Mr. Amey had a few special guests. The classes were joined by members of the women's 🏐 volleyball 🏐 team from Delta College for their volleyball lesson. Students enjoyed the activities and expertise they shared!

Kind Kids Club kicked off for the year with Mrs Anderson today. Each Wednesday and Thursday depending on a student's classroom kids can join her by signing up with their teacher. Kindness Bingo, a monthly challenge or board games during recess to promote friendship.
Students are working hard on their NWEA tests this week. A special brain break with friends in Mrs Mason's classroom was the perfect reward.

Ms. Charity in the Arrowwood library wants to give a huge shout out and thank you to Mr. Krzyzaniak from White Pine Middle School. He and his students built these wooden devices that prevent books from sliding back on the shelves. Our students can easily see titles and Ms. Charity can keep it effortlessly tidy for her readers. The music room is coming alive with Mrs Reyes. Fourth graders discovered rhymes and a classic song today "Down by the Bay".
