We extend a huge Arrowwood Eagle THANK YOU to our neighbors at Heritage Salon. They donated a box of personal hygiene items for our student Care Closet.

Ideas are growing for third graders this year. Thanks to an STCS Foundation Grant each of the classrooms purchased a propagation station housed in the library. Students will be making observations as part of their life cycles and living things unit as well as responsible for the care of the plants.

A huge thank you to The Headband Ladies for their generous gift of warm ears for every Eagle. Today was distribution day and the students were full of smiles and excitement!

A quick walk around Arrowwood revealed all kinds of learning opportunities for students. Mrs. Anderson was teaching a class about strong feelings. Teachers gathered students at the carpet for quick reading and writing lessons before sending them off to try the skill for themselves. Students read informational books with partners. And the library was buzzing with the excitement of checking out new books. And that's just a few of our rooms! A great start to a wonderful Wednesday for the Eagles 🦅

Fundraiser update from the PTO

Kind Kids Club with Mrs Anderson has been spreading joy and celebrating by making chains sharing positive things about individuals.

Congratulations to this Rising Eagle at Arrowwood! She has completed all the fifth grade material for ALEKs Math and is moving on to sixth grade!

The last few photos of our Eagles with the Veterans who joined them for our assembly this morning. A thank you also goes out to Mrs. Raines and team for planning this special event and to our student council for all of their help. 🇺🇲

We extend a heartfelt thank you to every Veteran who joined their Eagle as a special guest for today's assembly. Family, friends, and neighbors, our students were so glad to see you!

This morning, we celebrated Veterans Day with an assembly that included information, honoring the military branches, a song, and a special ceremony based on the children's book America's White Table. Thank you, Veterans 🇺🇲

Today the fifth graders got to see former Eagles perform an amazing show. Be sure to check out BeetleJuice Jr all this weekend at WPMS with a very talented cast and crew!

Congratulations to Mrs Hill, assistant principal, who concluded her Gerstacker Fellowship Program this evening as part of cohort 18. The educational leadership program is a year long endeavor through SVSU. Lead On, Mrs Hill.

A big thank you to our staff and students who helped remind our STCS parents to head to the polls today and make their voices heard. Polls are open until 8pm!
