We are a committed group of parents/teachers who work hard to bring added enrichment programs to the students of Hemmeter Elementary. Our mission is to help enhance your child’s education through hands-on learning experiences that otherwise would not be available through regular educational funding. We brainstorm, develop/organize, and fundraise to bring unique opportunities to our students every school year. 

We encourage your involvement in any area that is suitable to your needs. We are always looking for friendly helping hands to either lead or help support the activities at Hemmeter.  Please contact us if you have questions or are interested in helping out.

All parents of students in Hemmeter are part of our Hemmeter Parent Teacher Council and invited to attend our monthly meetings or participate in volunteer positions to support our students.  HPTC uses a private facebook page for information and questions about school activities.  Request to join “Hemmeter Parent Teacher Council” within facebook to be added to the group.

HPTC Board

Board meetings are open to all parents and teachers and are held the 1st Tuesday of each month (Sept - May). Watch for September's meeting date since it is held after the start of school. Please join us at 6:30 p.m. in the Creativity Room.
