White Pine offers a wide variety of interscholastic sports in which 6th, 7th and 8th grade students may participate. There are 24 total teams at White Pine.

White Pine competes in the Midland - Mt. Pleasant - Bay City - Saginaw Athletic Conference (MMtBS).

It should be noted that a vast majority of the coaches at White Pine are educators. We strive to hire coaches that know what is developmentally appropriate for middle level athletes and give staff members a chance to connect with students lives outside of the classroom. White Pine is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. The sports seasons are divided into four seasons unlike the traditional 3 seasons at the high school level. Four sports seasons allows for greater participation in a greater number of sports offerings for the middle level athletes.

In order to tryout for a sport at White Pine, you must have a physical on file dated on/after 4/15/24.  All physicals must be uploaded, with appropriate physician signature, date of signature, and date of exam completed and uploaded on the FinalForms Website.  The physical side of the MHSAA form must be completely filled out - Top and Bottom. No Exceptions. Both the parent/guardian and student sections must be completed in FinalForms in order to participate in any sports at White Pine.  ALL student-athletes and parent/guardians must complete all areas within FinalForms, as well as signatures for each area.  Student-athletes WILL NOT be permitted to tryout or practice for any sport until all areas are complete within FinalForms. Click on the image below (FinalForms) and follow the directions to set up your student-athlete's account. See information below on how to register and navigate FinalForms.  As a reminder:  A student-athlete will not be permitted to tryout or practice without a physical signed by a physician uploaded (scan or photo); and all signatures completed by both parent/guardian and student.

Athletic Registration Fee

The Athletic Fee for the 2024-25 school year will be $75.00.  This is a one time fee, regardless of how many sports your student participates in.  

Due Dates per Season (only have to pay one time):

• Fall Sports:  Due by Friday, September 6 , 2024

• Winter #1 Sports:  Due by Friday, November 8 , 2024

• Winter #2 Sports:  Due by Friday, January 17, 2025

• Spring Sports:  Due by Friday, April 18, 2025

All Athletic Fees will be paid within your student's account in Skyward.  You may pay on-line within Skyward with a credit or debit card, or you can pay with cash or check in the main office.  The main office secretary will be happy to assist you with payment using cash or a check.

Please be Advised:  All physicals, signatures, Emergency Card Information are now being processed and uploaded using the Website:  FinalForms.  We will no longer be taking a copy of your student-athletes physical form, and all signatures (parent and student) will be completed on FinalForms.  This information will follow your student-athlete through athletics at Heritage High School.  You will simply need to update information on a yearly basis.  Note: Please use your students school email address in the section: student email.
