The White Pine Middle School Parent Council (WPPC) would like to welcome new and returning families to the 2024/2025 school year. The WPPC continues to work closely with the staff and teachers to find opportunities to enrich the students' experiences while at White Pine Middle School.
The WPPC meets monthly in the White Pine Media Center (Library). We hope you can join us! The meeting schedule can be found below.

Mission
The White Pine Parent Council is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of students at White Pine Middle school by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers; encouraging parent, staff, and public involvement; and encouraging pride, enthusiasm and support. We will provide service for school functions, encourage fund raising, encourage parent, teacher and community involvement, and cooperate with school administration in providing educational opportunities that support or enrich the curriculum for the students.
The White Pine Parent Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Fundraising
The White Pine Parent Council is dedicated to enriching the educational experience for our White Pine students and foster a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the community. Our fundraising efforts are vital to achieving these goals. The funds raised allow us to support a variety of educational programs, extracurricular activities and resources for our students and school.
In the 2023/2024 school year, the White Pine Parent Council provided funds for the following:
W.E.B. Leaders (the White Pine Parent Council fully funds the W.E.B. Leader program for 8th students)
Supplies for the Homecoming float
Intramural Sports
Author Erik Jon Slangerup's visit
Buses for the 8th graders to attend the Career Exploration and Job Fair at Heritage
Books for Classroom Libraries
Teacher Appreciation Week.

For Teachers & Staff
The White Pine Parent Council shall be empowered to authorize expenditures of up to $600 per funding request, budget permitting.
